Description
The King Air 260 is a twin-engine turboprop aircraft manufactured by Beechcraft. It is the successor to the King Air 250, which was introduced in 2013. The King Air 260 is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-52 engines, each producing 1,100 shaft horsepower. The aircraft has a maximum speed of 310 knots (357 mph), a range of 1,900 nautical miles (2,173 miles), and a maximum altitude of 30,000 feet. The King Air 260 can seat up to nine passengers and has a maximum payload of 2,500 pounds. It also features an advanced avionics package, which includes a digital autopilot and real-time weather radar. The aircraft is ideal for short- to medium-range corporate, commercial, and utility missions, as well as medevac and military operations. It is also capable of carrying cargo and passengers simultaneously.
