Description
The Gulfstream G500 is a business jet aircraft manufactured by Gulfstream Aerospace, a subsidiary of General Dynamics. It is a twin-engine, long-range business jet aircraft with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles. The G500 features an advanced digital flight deck and cabin, with optional high-speed internet, satellite communications and cabin entertainment systems. The aircraft is powered by two Rolls-Royce Pearl engines, each producing 16,100 pounds of thrust. It is designed to fly at a maximum speed of Mach 0.9, and has a service ceiling of 51,000 feet. The G500 has a maximum takeoff weight of 91,000 pounds and a maximum payload of 8,400 pounds. The cabin is designed for up to 19 passengers, and is capable of being configured for up to four distinct cabin zones. The G500 is certified for single-pilot operations and is equipped with advanced safety systems including a Traffic and Collision Avoidance System, an Enhanced Vision System and an Auto Throttle system.
