The Embraer Legacy 500 is a mid-sized business jet manufactured by Embraer, a Brazilian aircraft manufacturer. It is a part of the Legacy family of jets, and it is the first aircraft in its size class to offer a private suite and a flat-floor cabin. The Legacy 500 can fly up to 3,125 nautical miles and can seat up to 12 passengers. It has a maximum cruise speed of Mach 0.78 and a maximum altitude of 45,000 feet. It is powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW535E engines, each providing 6,040 lbs of thrust. The Legacy 500 also has a full-authority digital engine control (FADEC) system for improved performance and reliability. Additionally, the aircraft is equipped with an advanced avionics suite, based on the Pro Line Fusion system, which includes the latest communication, navigation, and surveillance features.
