Description
The Mitsubishi MU2 Solitaire is a twin-engine turboprop aircraft produced by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of Japan between 1965 and 1986. The MU2 is a light-weight, high-performance aircraft designed for executive, business, and light cargo transport. It has a pressurized cabin, retractable landing gear, and is able to land on short runways. It is powered by two Garrett TPE-331-5-252G engines, each producing 750 shp (560 kW), and has a maximum speed of 260 knots (480 km/h). The MU2 Solitaire is capable of carrying up to eight passengers and has a range of 1,290 nautical miles (2,400 km).
