1980 Piper Aztec F
Description
The Piper Aztec F is a six-seat, twin-engine light aircraft manufactured by Piper Aircraft from 1979 to 1982. It is a development of the Piper PA-23 Apache, and features a more powerful engine, increased fuel capacity, and a larger cabin. The Aztec F was well suited for personal, business, and charter operations, and was quite popular among air taxi operators. The aircraft is powered by two Lycoming O-540-K1G5D engines, each producing 225 horsepower. It has a maximum cruising speed of 175 knots, and a range of up to 1,200 nautical miles. The Aztec F has a maximum takeoff weight of 5,100 pounds, and a maximum payload of 1,100 pounds. The aircraft is also equipped with a Garmin G1000 integrated avionics suite.
