Description
The Piper PA-31-350 Chieftain is a twin-engine, six to eight seat, light aircraft manufactured by Piper Aircraft. It was first introduced in 1974 and was the largest member of the Piper PA-31 Navajo family. It features a Lycoming TIO-540-A2C engine, producing 350 horsepower per side. The aircraft is capable of a maximum cruise speed of 222 knots and a maximum range of 1,200 nautical miles. The cabin is designed to seat up to eight passengers and has a cargo capacity of up to 700 pounds. The PA-31-350 is often used for charter flights, business transport, and personal use.
